Hi! I'm Amanda, the hands and heart behind Batter & Dough Microbakery and the Batter with a Purpose initiative. Baking has always been my way to connect, celebrate, and bring joy to others.
What started as a fun way to pass time has quickly become a heartfelt mission to give back to children and young adults in need.
As a mom of two and a School Psychologist, I know firsthand the importance of celebrating small accomplishments and creating moments of joy for young ones. Batter with a Purpose allows me to combine my love of baking with my passion for making a difference, crafting treats that bring smiles while supporting meaningful causes. Each cake and set of cupcakes is made with care, intention, and a sprinkle of love—because every bite can be a reminder that someone is rooting for you.
Batter & Dough is our main microbakery where every cookie, cake, and treat is made with care, creativity, and a little extra love. From experimenting with new flavors, to perfecting classic favorites, we strive to make desserts that not only taste amazing, but also create memories.
We strongly believe in connecting with our local community. Whether it's through local markets or special orders, every creation is an opportunity to build relationships and share joy and sweetness.
